Every Failure is a Success

Seriously, I may be a little eccentric, but hear me out. Every time you FAIL, you have SUCCEEDED.

There are several reasons for this. The first, and most important, is that there are MILLIONS (or more) people on this earth that REFUSE to fail, and while they may avoid outright failure in many ways, they also fail to see the value in failures, even though they've still been successful in several areas like - not giving up, being stubborn and perservering.

Then there are others, maybe you're one of them, who have failed many times, maybe even hundreds of times. These people may not revel in their failures, but they don't continue to beat themselves over the head for a fear of failing. They allow themselves to give in, and because of that, they successfully allow themselves to accept each failure.

If you're the first type of person, who is unable to fail, then congratulations, you've successfully been able to run away from complete failure, and you've successfully reinforced your fear of failure.

If you're the second type of person, who has failed countless times and accepted it, congratulations! You've succeeded at failing, something many people have a hard time doing.

Now, for those of you in the first situation, with a fear of failure. I am curious to know if you might consider attempting to become even more successful at failing. It's not as scary as you might think, and you might find that you'll become even more successful in your life when you've successfully let go of your fear of failure. It's quiet freeing, or so I'm told. =)

As for the rest of you, you successful failure you! It's you're turn to add more success to your record. Though I'm not going to suggest you try to succeed at failing, because you're already great at that. What I want you to consider, is what you know about failing, especially in contrast and similarity to success. Can you take a magnifying glass and scrutinize everything that happened before, during and after each failure?

If you can do these things, no matter what type of success or failure you've achieved, then you'll be better able to get H.I.G.H. anytime you need to, because you'll understand just what you did to get into either position, anytime you want.

Getting H.I.G.H. to Get What You Want

Seriously, when you get H.I.G.H. you can achieve even the most impossible endeavors. This is because getting H.I.G.H. means getting Highly Inspired to Get Hardcore. It means determindly seeking out your dreams and accomplishing your goals, no matter what gets in your way.

It's up to you what reason to use to get H.I.G.H., but any reason will do. Whether you're determined to reach financial stability, get into better shape, find your ultimate career path or you have a grander purpose in mind. When you get H.I.G.H. you determine your mindset, and you tell the energy around you that you are in control of your destiny and no longer just a tumbleweed blowing in the wind waiting for things to happen to you.

When you're H.I. you're already ready to G.H., which means it's only a simple choice made in the confines of your mind, that puts it all together. It's that little voice that says "Wow that's a good idea! I should do something about that!", and then it says "I AM going to do something about it."
When you're H.I.G.H. you're ready to take on the world, as you should be. It's an amazing feeling, as anyone knows.

So what are you waiting for?

Aren't you H.I.G.H. yet?

Supply & Demand: The Heavy Cost of Hemp

I know there are a lot of you out there, who like myself, would love to create hemp businesses. Whether it's textiles, apparel, foods or other creative endeavors. Yet everywhere you turn, you seem to be thwarted by the high price of hemp.

This is a real problem for a lot of businesses and entrepreneurs that would love to be hemp centered. I've looked into the simple idea of having a simple hemp-tee business, and the costs are astronomic. In order to buy ordinary tee's, made from the cotton plant which is well known to devastate any earth it's cultivated in, I could order bulk t-shirts for anywhere from $1 to $5 a piece, depending on whether I want one's produced in sweat shops or ones that are of higher quality. For the same options in hemp tee's, it costs between $10 to $20 per tee on a wholesale level. So in order to cover over head and make any sort of profit, I'd have to sell the tee's for more than double the cost.

Dreading the Tube

After creating this blog, my next step is to create some youtube videos of my speeches, so that me being a speaker becomes more real.

This is something I dread... It's nerve racking, especially when you feel like you're just talking to yourself. Then you wonder if other people will think you sound as funny as you think you do.

My even bigger problem is trying to find something remotely professional and relevant to wear. Then it's an issue of figuring out just the right background for my camera view... I didn't worry half as much when I sang on stage in my band or nearly as much when I did my talk-radio show. Yet there just seems to be something so much more powerful about putting your whole self out there on a video that may never get seen, or just as terrifying (in a good way) what if the vids become instant hits that go viral and everybody instantly recognizes you?

Am I being weird? Yeah, I am. I know it.

As a soon-to-be motivational speaker, I can already hear all the great speakers I've listened to and read about, going through my head telling me to do it anyways. Courage is what happens when we are afraid of doing something, but do it anyways. Right?

How Am I Doing?

Sometimes I wonder if I'm to "wordy" or if I'm letting my flair for writing take over to much.

It really bites as my confidence, and I would love to hear from any of you out there reading this, what you think of my posts?

What emotions do they give off?

What do they inspire you to do?

Is there something else you want me to talk about?

Feel free to comment on this post, or any of the others. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
